Wow, my journal's getting dusty!!!

Journal Entry: Mon May 5, 2008, 2:44 AM
I thought I'd best update this, seen as I've been back from Japan for over a month now, haha. It is one hell of a country, I'm gonna post some photos soon (I'm so lazy).

I just a few things to comment on, I watched the new Iron Man film the other night and as most people have been commenting, it's a bloody good film. John Favreau is one hell of a director. To have such a challenge ahead of him as iron man, I mean it needs some seriously good CG, and low and behold he pulls out one of the best iron man comic artists, Adi Granov, to do the concept art and an immense team of CG artists out of his magic director's hat. And to get such a great cast, that all fit there parts so well.

If you haven't seen it yet then get your ass to the cinema.

Also it's gonna be my birthday soon, 25 years old, jeez come to think of it that's quarter of a century. Time to stop thinking like that.

Also I'd just like to thank all the people who have featured me on their DA pages, and everyone who has been watching my DA page and supporting me.

I'm gonna stop now, as the sudden realisation of my age has made me drift off into madness.

  • Mood: Mortified
  • Listening to: Gladiator OST
  • Reading: Lots of manga and the amber spyglass
  • Watching: Reaper and tons of anime
  • Playing: nothing... I need money
  • Eating: Too much
  • Drinking: Gallons of water

I sure you'll have an amazing time. The hardest part is choosing what to do in the time you have there. I, personally, wish I could have had a lot longer there. I'm already want to go back

I didn't get to go every where I wanted to in Tokyo but some of the best places I did manage to get to were, the park in Harajuku, it's an amazingly big park, great for a sunny day of relaxing. Also in Harajuku, just next to the park, is the bridge where people gather and dress in some crazy outfits and cosplay. Also next to harajuku is Shibuya, a great place to check out for shopping and there's alot of music shops around there, there are also some great places to eat, and a few western restaurants and bars. Another great place to go shopping is shinjuku, but it's better at night when all the crazy and colourful neon lights are on, it's just like blade runner. However watch yourself, some people at the hostels mentioned being bothered by people trying to entice you to some seedy places, but me and my friends never encountered any. And last but not least, if you like computer games and electronics you should visit Asakusa. It's full of computer games shops, arcades, music shops and much much more.

I hope thats some help to you. You should check them out on the web before you go and also get some guides from where ever you're staying, because the underground train stations can take a little getting used to.
